It often results in improvement in language, memory, self-esteem and social interactions.The residents tell us they love the friendly, vibrant and family-focused atmosphere.
Of course, they love the beautiful views and atmosphere.Mo te turanga - About the roleWe have a casual Health Care Assistant role to fill in a dementia care capacity for multiple shifts.
So get in touch and have a chat with us, we'd love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesAs a Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our residents in their daily living and social requirements.
Your key responsibilities will be:Deliver the highest standard of personalised care to every residentSupport and encourage residents to maintain their independence and make decisions for themselvesAssist and support the activities of daily living in a way that meets the Eden principles and the Domains of WellbeingTake instruction and tasks from the Registered NurseEnsure resident's needs are attended to effectively and in a timely mannerMo koe - About YouSkillsAs well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised; with great interpersonal skills.
You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect.
