We are happy to be once again working with the Gisborne District - now searching for their Resource Management Planning Team Leader;
The Organisation: The Gisborne District Council serves a vibrant district with a population of approximately 50,000.

The Role: As Planning Team Leader, you will lead a team of 8 planners with mixed levels of experience.
We are looking for someone who can come on board and use their knowledge of the Resource Management Act planning process to help guide staff and nurture their growth as a planner.
A large portion of the role sees you working with your team assisting them with their processes and facilitating their growth; however, you will also have a small workload, which will consist of more high-end projects.
Within this unique council, you will be working on Regional as well as District plan changes, so you get the diversity of projects to oversee.
Other Duties Include: Develop relationships with key stakeholdersDrive continuous growth and development within your teamProvide support and guidance to other planners within the policy teamProvide RMA expertise and process applicationsEnsuring that legislative requirements and council policies and procedures are fulfilledAbout You: You will have a solid understanding of the Plan change process from start to finish, ideally experience within the council space, and be able to use that knowledge to help lead a team of planners with mixed levels of experience.
