Swim Zone Shift Supervisor

Swim Zone Pools are looking for a full time Shift Supervisor (Support) to join our leadership team.If you are a team superstar who likes flexibility and variety in their work and can lead and motivate a team of lifeguards, then this might be the job for youThis brand new role will support our Swim Zone leadership team, by providing cover, training and administration support at all three Swim Zone facilities.
You will be working at either Swim Zone Matamata, Morrinsville or Te Aroha, depending on where you are needed each week.You will lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring high standards of health and safety, water quality management, administrative support, and plant operations.
You will also be responsible for training, maintaining custodianship with pride, and responding effectively to emergencies when required.At Matamata-Piako District Council, we embrace diversity and have a culture built on trust and respect.

You will be required to work a variety of early shifts, late shifts and weekends at any of the three facilities.
This will be planned in advance where possible (i.e.
to cover a team meeting or take a training session) but will also require flexibility to cover sick leave if and when required.
