Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The opportunityIn this role, you will support the General Manager, People, Capability & Culture by leading and delivering core HR functions across the organisation.Utilising a business partnering model, you will collaborate with another Principal Advisor and two HR Advisors to deliver high-quality advice, lead people initiatives and support kaimahi development.
While a generalist practitioner, you will have significant experience in an area of HR such as employment relations, change and/or performance management.The appointment range for this role is between $123,009 to $150,344 (With a midpoint of $136,676) per annum and the salary will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills and experience.Ko wai koe | About youTo be successful, you will have demonstrated HR skills and experience to match the expectations of the role with a big picture mindset and operational ability.
You'll be able to operate within a complex and politically sensitive environment and have sound knowledge of the public sector and machinery of Government.Because you'll lead the HR Advisor, some people management/leadership experience will be needed as will strong relationship management skills to develop networks across the organisation.
