You will be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways Auckland peer-led support team, which is a service that is an alternative to hospital admission and can house up to 12 guests, working in a team of peer support specialists – all with a common purpose to support people experiencing mental illness.This is a permanent, full-time role. You will be working 32 hours per week, Friday – Monday, 11pm – 7:30am. Based in Papatoetoe, Auckland.You | Mou:We are interested to hear from peers with a period of wellness and work in a recovery-focused way for our Tupu Ake service.You'll also have:A current Peer Employment Training or Intentional Peer Support TrainingCompletion of WRAP training, including WRAP at workNew Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalentKnowledge of the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers' RightsAn understanding of and commitment to the principles of recoveryLived experience of mental illnessKnowledge of mental health and NGO sector developmentKnowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o WaitangiClosing Date: Monday, 6th January 2025.
