Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Executive Regional Development & Commercial Services (RDCS), you will be responsible for providing cross-government leadership and capability to achieve effective and efficient results from Government's procurement activities.
In particular, the General Manager NZGP will deliver the All-of-Government procurement programme, provide policy advice on Government Procurement and maintain technical capabilities to respond to emerging procurement and all-of-government contract opportunities.The role will be focused on building and enhancing the overall capability of the Government Procurement Branch to ensure quality and consistency of advice and practices in relation to Government priorities and procurement activities.Regional Development & Commercial Services is responsible for delivering government investment into New Zealand's regions to build their economies, grow businesses, and strengthen communities.
It plays a role in the administration of over $4.5 billion in funding across a wide variety of Regional Development funds.
