Full timeAre you an experienced Digital Delivery Lead who is looking for a new permanent opportunity in 2025?In this role you will lead from the front and drive engagement by partnering and delivering on key projects within the Digital portfolio.Auckland Airport stands proudly as the gateway to Aotearoa, welcoming travellers beginning their journeys, farewelling Kiwis to new destinations, connecting businesses and workers to new opportunities, and celebrating partners and investors who back us along the way.Please note that this role will be advertised until early January 2025 and CVs will be reviewed in the new year.Key responsibilities includeAccountable for leading delivery teams and squads to successfully deliver on the agreed portfolio of workResponsible for managing direct reports, overseeing resource allocation, and prioritising projectsAccountable for the health of projects and programmes, within the portfolio, using defined project metricsSupport the planning and alignment of the STP. Work alongside the business owners to develop the priorities for the portfolios managed with a 1 to 2-year horizon viewEnsure that project goals are accomplished and that these align with AIAL's strategic directionSupport the development and maturing of project management capability and skills within the PMOEstablish and maintain strong senior stakeholder relationships, acting as the key point of contact for the Project Sponsors and relevant executivesSupport the Head of Digital – PMO and represent the project management office as part of the PMO Leadership TeamEmbedding effective and transparent Business Partnering and working to influence a shift in embedded processes and ways of workingUnderstanding the entire Digital portfolio to ensure that through collaboration with other project leaders, all risks, issues, and dependencies across the STP are understood, mitigations and plans are in place, and opportunities are identifiedWhat you will bring to the roleMinimum 9-10 years' proven experience in project or programme management across a range of industries with a strong focus on customer product delivery – using digital technologiesEffective people leadership skills, with the proven ability to build, lead and coach teams to achieve successAbility to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomesKnowledge of technology and digitalisation approaches and trends kept currentDemonstrated experience in managing multiple concurrent project/programme activitiesComfortable with agile and waterfall work practicesStrong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships at all levelsExperience with and ability to effectively deliver executive presentationsStrong business acumen and ability to focus on strategy alignment between business and customerAbout usAuckland Airport is more than just a business.
