Job DescriptionTe Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity The School of Computer Science/Te Kura Matai Rorohiko at University of Auckland/Waipapa Taumata Rau is currently looking for an early career academic to join our diverse and internationally renowned school as a Professional Teaching Fellow.
If you are passionate and enthusiastic about teaching and want to build lasting collaborations, and value diversity, we encourage you to apply.The appointee will be in charge of coordinating and supervising third-year undergraduate projects (Capstone project) and teaching into the undergraduate programme. Duties will include coordinating the assignment and progress of student projects, lecturing to large classes, and working with small student groups in laboratory settings. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are important. Experience with students, supervision of projects, and lecturing is essential.
Preference will be for applicants from under-represented groups – such as female, Maori, and Pasifika.
