Our Adult Community Mental Health teams provide high-quality comprehensive assessment and treatment for adults and their families living in the Nelson/Tasman region. We enjoy a team culture of collaborative practice, openness, humour and respect across disciplines.

As an Acute Clinician you will work a 24/7 roster responding to clients in crisis. This will include overnight on call and receiving triaged referrals from Home Care Medical (HCM), NMDHB Triage Service, and assessment of acute presentations in response to referrals from ED, GPs and Police.

The full-time equivalent salary range is $66,570 to $95,340 based on the current Mental Health and Public Health Nursing MECA, dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

You will be an experienced MH professional with the confidence to work autonomously and the resilience to manage a mixed case load. You will have current knowledge of mental health and associated issues and addictions clinical experience is also desirable. Whilst we are looking for an experienced practitioner - we also recruit for attitude.
- Te Whatu Ora staff must have completed their primary course of two NZ approved COVID-19 vaccinations._
