As Regional Trainer you will:Facilitate, support and oversee all Support Worker training in accordance with Access Kaiawhina Competency training and qualifications in the region.Ensure that essential skills with our paid induction program and hands-on buddying are fit for our community support environment.Work alongside line managers, in particular Care Coordinator Team Leaders and Support Worker Team Leaders to ensure a competent workforce.Contribute to the design and development of workplace training, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and other tasks, to meet operational needs of the Access workforce.Hold teaching experience and qualifications in adult learning, nursing, allied health, or teaching.Experience in the health sector is desirable.Hold a registered assessor qualification and be an approved Careerforce Assessor or have the ability to obtain this.Hold or be prepared to undertake further study towards the Certificate in Adult Teaching.Provide evidence of experience in standards-based assessment.Exhibit excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Be competent with technology and Microsoft Office.Respond to the learning needs of groups and individuals in a culturally appropriate manner.Be highly collaborative.Able to work autonomously.We are a supportive nationwide team with a strong values-based culture.
