Job DescriptionTe Haeata/The OpportunityThe Ministry of Justice are seeking a Court Registry Support Officer to join our team in the Christchurch District Court.
This is a pivotal role for the Ministry as the responsibilities of Support Officers help the courts operate timely and effectively.As a Court Registry Support Officer your day will involve engaging with our customers, including Lawyers, Judges, and the public – whether it be over the phone or face to face.
You'll work closely with Court Registry Officers and support them while they take Court and manage case files.You Will Be Supporting The Day To Day Operations Of The Court By Performing The Administration Function And Providing Customer Service Which May Includemanaging incoming and outgoing mailsupporting the jury service functionproviding support and advice to our diverse customer baseproviding timely and efficient customer servicesupporting Judges and Court Registry Officers both in and out of the courtroomsupporting jurors for trial hearingsproviding general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filingmanaging evidence exhibitsaccounts payabledata entryO Pukenga/Skills And ExperienceTo be successful in this role you will have proven customer service experience.
You will need to be confident, able to multi-task, flexible and adapt to change with ease.
