You'll collaborate closely with buying, category management, finance, and operations teams, ensuring stock availability, maximized sales, and margin efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management: Forecasting stock requirements, creating accurate and strategic merchandise plans aligned with sales targets and inventory turn goals.Demand Forecasting: Analyse historical sales trends and market data to forecast product demand, optimize inventory levels, and minimize risks of overstocks and out-of-stocks.Stock Control & Optimise Inventory: Manage replenishment strategies, ensuring timely order placements and effective stock allocation across multiple locations.Sales & Margin Optimization: Monitor category performance closely, providing insights and recommendations to optimize margin, reduce markdowns, and maximize profitability.Collaboration: Partner with Category Managers, Buyers, and Operations to ensure merchandise strategies align with promotional calendars and store capacities.Review Supplier & Seasonal Performance: Identify bestsellers (and slow movers) to shape future buying decisions.Reporting & Analysis: Generate detailed reports on sales performance, inventory position, and category profitability.
