Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role We have opportunities to join us as Finance Operations Officer.
These are permanent roles based in Wellington.
As a Finance Operations Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial activities.
Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, administering purchasing card programs, and overseeing reimbursements.
You'll also perform daily bank reconciliations, maintain fixed asset records, and contribute to month-end and year-end reporting tasks.
This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to continuous improvement, particularly in leveraging technology to streamline and automate processes.
You'll interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and resolving financial queries promptly.
You'll be working with a supportive team who enjoy the mahi they do.
We are a large, complex, and interesting organisation and can offer experience in areas that you may not have come across before.
Indicative salary range for the Finance Operations Officer role is $58,335 - $75,500 with appointment depending on skills and experience.
ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

You'll bring relevant experience from a similar role and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
Strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach are essential, along with sound judgment and a commitment to delivering accurate, consistent, and timely customer service.
Working with our friendly and supportive Finance Operations team and reporting directly to the Finance Operations Manager, this is a great chance to broaden your technical skills.
