You will partner with our leaders and their teams to provide professional, practical, robust advice and support.Our ideal candidate is a Senior Practitioner or Specialist with great relationships, eager to make a positive impact and help us in delivering an exceptional employee experience.Key responsibilities include:Supporting our people leaders, championing best practice and alignment with our vision, mission and valuesReview & development of organisational policies and proceduresSupport with the end to end HR functions from onboarding to offboarding, remuneration, employment relations, transformational change and all in betweenProviding accurate advice to manage risk and support the delivery of high performance outcomesCompliance in all relevant legislative requirements and best practiceUse your recruitment expertise to support delivery of outcomesLead performance management activities to enhance and improve employee performanceEnsuring accurate record keeping and HR documentation within Raukawa systemsTo be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates with:Previous experience delivering high quality HR advice to support managers across HR functionsA relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Health and safety or bothExtensive knowledge of NZ employment lawA high attention to detail in order to produce quality documentationThe ability to build strong working relationshipsA flexible approach to working, who can problem solve and offer practical solutionsExceptional communication skills with the ability to influenceFormer experience within NGO and/or Government would be highly regardedIn return, we Offer:Supportive and inclusive team where we know people are at the heart of our successA friendly team and cultureOngoing development and training opportunitiesIndependent and confidential employee assistanceWellbeing initiatives and events that support and recognise staff members and their contributionsSouthern Cross Health Insurance subsidyApplicants must hold a valid and full Class 1 drivers licence and be prepared to undergo Police vetting.Suitable candidates will be assessed & may be interviewed while the advertisement is open.Unfortunately, applications from those without the right to work in New Zealand will not be considered.
