Expression of Interest - Supply Chain ManagerWe are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Supply Chain team and support our Director of Operations by overseeing and managing Enatel's supply chain and inbound logistics strategy.About the companyFounded in 2002 and based in Otautahi Christchurch, Enatel is a hi-tech electronics company with a proven history of success. By seeing obstacles as opportunities, we continuously improve as a team and as a business.About the opportunityAs Supply Chain Manager, reporting to the Director of Operations, you will drive initiatives to improve stock accuracy, optimal inventory level and reducing slow moving and obsolete inventory. Along with developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors, you will:Determine key Supply Chain KPIs, aligned with the overall business strategyWork closely with the Procurement team to ensure data accuracy and optimal ERP system set up for smooth operationsNegotiate contracts, costs and terms with suppliers and freight forwardersEnsure raw material supply to production is on time, aiming for zero downtimeCommunicate with suppliers, expedite material supply when requiredAnalyze data and information to remove waste from the system and processesImplement new or improved supply chain processesDrive our cycle counting processes and ensure best practice and accuracySupport NPI projects, provide information related to material supply and recommend strategy for an effective and resilient supply chainAbout youWe are looking for a highly experienced procurement leader who brings expertise, creativity, and determination to solve complex problems and drive business success. The ideal candidate will have:Minimum of 5 years' experience in an international procurement setting, with a proven track record of successAt least 2 years of leadership experience managing and mentoring procurement teams to drive performance and resultsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and ERP systems, with strong technical skills to enhance efficiency and accuracyExceptional communication, negotiation, and contract management expertise, able to navigate complex discussions and secure optimal outcomesStrong analytical mindset with the ability to develop creative, practical solutions to challenging procurement issuesIn-depth knowledge of inventory management systems and their integration within procurement processesSolid understanding of supplier terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and fostering mutually beneficial relationshipsExceptional attention to detail, able to identify trends and patterns in data that others may miss, ensuring accuracy and informed decision-makingProactive and solution-oriented, with a relentless focus on identifying and resolving root causes of problems to drive continuous improvementProven ability to exceed performance targets and deliver outstanding results in previous roles, demonstrating a commitment to excellenceHow to applyTo seize this exciting opportunity, you'll need to forward your CV and cover letter to ****** with the job title in the subject line.Please note:We will not be screening applications over the Christmas and New Year break.Responses to applicants will be sent in early February 2025, but we encourage you to submit your application nowTo discover more about Enatel, visit www.enatel.net.
