As we continue to grow, we invite you to join us.Join our dynamic team and make a real impact on Auckland's Environment We are looking for a motivated professional with a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Ecology, Geography or Natural Resource Management and at least 5 years' consulting experience in areas such as water quality, stormwater management, estuarine or freshwater ecosystems, or trade waste chemistry.As a key member of our team, you will work on a diverse range of projects while being mentored by New Zealand's leading scientists and engineers. You will contribute to meaningful environmental solutions both in Auckland and across Aotearoa. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from youAbout the RoleBusiness development by sourcing ongoing work from existing clients, developing new clients and raising your personal as well as the company's profile through the presentation of papers at conferences.Manage projects or components of projects including stormwater and/or drainage water quality, assessment of effects on receiving environments, contaminated land, and environmental betterment projects by co-ordinating team members and subcontractors, liaising with regulators, client contacts and stakeholders.Assist with designing and installing catchment/receiving environment/site water quality monitoring.Assist towards water quality device design and assessment.Contaminant modelling, statistical and data analysis, conceptual model development and assessment against guidelines.Preparation and review of resource consent applications.Technical report writing.Preparation of environmental management plans and other monitoring plans.Provide turn-key solutions, from initial conversation to proposal to development and successful completion.Applying company policies in health and safety, quality, administration and technical procedures.Working with senior Scientists and Engineers on all the above.What You'll BringA reputation as a recognised contributor to the water resource services market and the desire to further develop your skills.Proven commercial and business development skills, and strong written and oral communication skills.A broad-based scientific/engineering background with good practical experience.Good technical report writing, data analysis and management skill.Great people skills and an appetite to learn new things.To be able to work for periods in remote locations, with an ability to travel within NZ.What We OfferAt PDP, we believe a great company is built by great people.
