About the BusinessWork in a state of the art, sustainable, world first, advanced manufacturing plant utilising Industry 4.0 concepts including very high levels of automation. A second plant utilising this technology has been built in Gisborne and is currently in the critical commissioning phase.About the RoleOpportunity for multiple candidates based at our Gisborne manufacturing facility.As a member of a production team, you will be responsible for producing our innovative product, together with maintaining and improving plant equipment/processes to deliver continued increases to production KPIs.You will be interacting with plant equipment utilising "State of The Art" Control systems, Sensing, Vision, and Robotics technology.You will be using your skills and experience to help define and implement solutions involving mechatronics, process engineering, and operations management philosophies.All roles are very "hands on", working in a cohesive team environment where all individuals are working together to meet a common goal, seeking to improve performance while being part of the production process.Senior positions are available. In these senior positions you will bring significant relevant skills and experience to the table and will be expected to lead by example and help foster a productive, collaborative and rewarding work environment.Positions are permanent and full time with an average working week of 42 hours per annum with opportunities for overtime. As the plant operates 24/7, you will need to be comfortable working within a shift regime. Minimum guaranteed average hours are 42 per week.Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProducing product that meets or exceeds the specification and quality requirements.Monitoring and adjusting production parameters to support key performance indicators (KPIs).Refining automated plant equipment and control systems to continuously seek further production performance and efficiency.Inspecting plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained.Performing the preventative maintenance of plant equipment and supporting the definition of appropriate maintenance schedules.Repairing plant equipment to minimise downtime without compromising ongoing reliability.Utilising your skills to help define and implement key production improvement projects.Remaining compliant with the quality management process and striving to exceed all product quality criteria.Remaining safe in your workplace and ensuring compliance to the health and safety plan and associated policies and procedures.Benefits and PerksCompetitive remuneration package ranging from $32 to $50 per hour.Relocation assistance could be available.Opportunities to "step up" into more senior roles as the business expands and grows.Work in sunny Gisborne where there are endless beaches and no traffic jams.Join the trend discovering this ideal location for a lifestyle/work balance.Be part of a sustainable, world first venture using state of the art machinery.
