About the Role The Radiology department at CCHV is looking for a Radiology IT systems administrator to assist primarily with the management of the Regional Radiology Information System (RRIS) and Picture Archive Communication System (PACS).
The Radiology System Administrator is an important role across these sites, ensuring that there is training and support for staff using PACS and RRIS.
The role includes documentation development and maintenance, process evaluation, and ongoing system improvements to support the radiology department.
There is also a rostered on-call component providing system administration after hours for acute imaging requirements and/or assisting with periods of system downtime.
About the Team/Service/Location The team consists of a mixture of clinical and non-clinical members who work closely with external vendors and the ICT departments.

Has proven experience in systems administration, particularly Imaging (PACS) and Radiology RIS systemsHas proven experience in ticket managementHas excellent organisational and time management skillsIs confident to multitask and prioritise workloadHas excellent verbal and written communication skillsCan concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgmentCan communicate and function productively in an interdisciplinary teamHas high proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft ExcelWorks with discretion and confidentialityIs proactive and solution-focusedWorking at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of Aotearoa/New Zealand.
