An awesome 6 month contract opportunity has been created within a centrally located Wellington organisation looking for a payroll administrator to support them whilst they finalise their Holidays Act Remediation project over the coming 6 months.The RoleThis role will see you working in a hybrid capacity, where you will join the Payroll BAU team with end to end processing and ACC tasks.
They need administrative support with the following tasks:Ensuring the payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner.Process staff expense claims and contractor payments.Enter and amend employee details.Load deductions and changes into the payroll system.Assist the payroll team with the production of various payroll reports.About YouTo be suitable for this role you will ideally have at least two years experience in payroll and be comfortable managing your own portfolio of payroll.
You will also be happy supporting as and where required across the team with other administrative workload - no job will be too big or too small
Beyond that you will require the following skills:Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.Fantastic organisational skills.Competence on the Microsoft Office suite.A self-starter comfortable managing your autonomous workload.The benefitsIn return you'll be well remunerated role working for a tight-knit team in a respected organisation.
You'll gain valuable experience to add to your CV if you are still early in your payroll career, or alternatively 6 months of job security and a nice contract if you're an experienced payroller but happy to do an admin contract in the short term.
