We have an exciting opportunity at Go Bus Transport, managing the operations of school runs and charters.We are seeking a dynamic, results driven Depot Manager to lead the team in our Alexandra and Queenstown depots and the Central Otago region.Your primary responsibilities will include providing comprehensive reports to the MOE, ensuring full legislative compliance, conducting thorough investigations of accidents and incidents, all whilst maintaining optimal service levels.You will also play a pivotal role in cost control, overseeing weekly KPI reports, implementing change management strategies for the business and employment relationship issues along with essential administrative duties.Your expertise in fleet management will be crucial in keeping our school fleet fully operational, and you will have the opportunity to grow our charter business by developing relationships with schools and external organisations.Experience/qualifications sought for the position are:Level 3 NCEA or equivalent (evidence of Business/Operations related higher education is desirable)Class 2 licence, or willing to obtain thisP Endorsement, or ability to obtain oneExperience in managing a large teamAt least 3 years' experience in a large passenger service industry or similarExperience in managing customer and stakeholder relationships with significant organisationsKey Skills/Attributes required:Strong Leadership and ability to manage teamsExcellent customer serviceExcellent planning and organising skillsAdvanced communication skills – both verbal and writtenComputer skillsAbility to build and develop key relationshipsNegotiation skillsManaging safety and complianceAbility to adapt and cope with changeJoin us in this dynamic role and be a driving force in shaping the success of our Central Otago region.Our recruitment process includes a Drug and Alcohol Test, and a Police Vetting Check.
