We are a close-knit supportive team that understands the importance of holistic patient care, embodying manaakitanga and making use of wrap-around services to best meet the unique needs of our patients. As part of the Tamaki Health Group, New Zealand's largest independent primary healthcare group, we make the most of being part of a large network with shared resources and administrative support. As a Practice Manager, you will be the central person to ensure our clinic operates smoothly and efficiently, supporting our clinical teams in delivering outstanding patient care. It is an exciting time to join Eastcare as we continue to refine our model of care, grow our enrolments and improve our business systems and processes. You will be instrumental in these development initiatives, so this is a great opportunity to make your mark on a practice that has a lot of potential. A full position description is available. Areas of responsibility include: Oversight of financial processes Ensuring an excellent customer experience Leadership, including direct management of the Medical Receptionists and being part of the practice leadership team Human Resources, such as recruitment, training and onboarding Clinic Performance, ensuring the practice is sufficiently resourced, managing the roster and driving patient enrolments Oversight of all relevant accreditation standards. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge Strong computer skills, experience using a Patient Management System is desirable Experience in, and understanding of, the primary health sector (desirable) Experience in building a high performing team Post-secondary qualification (desirable) Excellent customer service, communication, and numeric skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise across multiple stakeholders Personal Attributes A high level of integrity and confidentiality A high attention to detail and accuracy Commitment to health equity and cultural competency and can demonstrate an understanding of Tikanga Maori, Kawa Maori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Other Requirements Proof of legal right to work in New Zealand (Essential). NZ Driver's license (Desirable). WHY JOIN US? Make a meaningful impact on healthcare Join a dynamic and supportive team Develop your skills and grow within our organization Competitive compensation and benefits. HOW TO APPLY: To apply for this exciting opportunity, please send your resume and a cover letter outlining your qualifications and relevant experience. Only individuals with working rights in New Zealand will be considered for the selection process.  To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.
