Sales Person / Tree and Plant Nursery Hand Sales Skills: Face-to-face and online/social media.
Tree and Plant Knowledge: Essential for the role.
Energy and Attitude: Plenty of energy and a great attitude are required.
This is a part-time job to start with, but it could easily turn into a full-time position if the needed skills are available and both parties agree.
We are looking for a motivated and energetic person to join our fun team here at Midland Horticulture. In this role, you'll be helping with email inquiries, working as part of the sales process, and managing face-to-face customer interactions.
If you thrive in a positive team environment, have an interest in horticulture and/or the outdoors, a passion for sales, and enjoy interacting with customers, this opportunity is tailor-made for you
About Us: Midland Horticulture is a busy wholesale nursery that prides itself on a high level of customer service and New Zealand's greatest range of plants.
Job Responsibilities: As a valued member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our customer interactions. Your responsibilities will include:
Sales: Working with our largely trade-based customers and quoting to find appropriate solutions to their needs, including social media and online platforms, and turning inquiries into sales.
