As a Dispatch Coordinator you will help manage the logistics processes, overseeing schedules, and ensuring the accuracy of dispatches.Cardinal is a leading partner to many of New Zealand's well-known companies in food, beverage, grocery, and personal healthcare. Our teams strive to be "Best in Class".Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pmThe successful applicant will:Ensure outgoing freight is manifested correctlyCheck inbound deliveries from key outside carriersCoordinate deliveries with the team and key outside carriersManifest and track freight from being dispatched to being deliveredTrain the team on new/updated processes as requiredOccasionally load & unload the key carriers - sort pallets as requiredIdeal applicant will have:Minimum of 2 years experience working in logistics or transportPrevious administration experience and an understanding of freight tracking & dispatchingA current forklift OSH or counterbalance MHE certificationDriven and able to provide exceptional customer serviceIntermediate level of experience using Microsoft SuitePrior experience using TMS or WMS systemsWhat we can offer:Membership to the Cardinal Perks Program (discounts with some of NZ's major retailers)Life insuranceOngoing professional training and developmentIf the above sounds like you, do not hesitate and apply now We look forward to discussing this opportunity with you.
