As Team Leader, you will set goals and monitor team performance while providing specialist and advanced clinical practice in accordance with Te Toka Tumai Auckland's codes of ethics and standards of practice.Your other duties will include:Working collaboratively with other Clinical Team Leaders and supporting the Head of Department of Cardiac PhysiologyMentoring, coaching staff, and managing staff performancePromoting an integrated approach to care that is patient-centred in partnership with a multidisciplinary teamA suitable applicant for this position will have:A tertiary qualification relevant to this roleA minimum of ten years post-qualification experience in Cardiac PhysiologyA demonstrable track record as a self-motivated, conscientious leader with a strong clinical and consumer focusExcellent communication and operational management skillsA commitment to biculturalism and achieving equitable outcomes for MaoriExperience in clinical leadership and project managementWe are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland.
We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand.
Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre, and Starship Children's Hospital, located in central Auckland.We are part of Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand, the overarching organisation for New Zealand's national health service.
