We promise to be professional, approachable and solutions-focused when providing for our community.As Assistant Librarian with Waimakariri Libraries, you will serve as a driving force behind our libraries' commitment to providing exceptional collections, content, experiences, and services to our hapori | community.This role will focus on our eLibrary and digital literacy offerings, planning and delivering digital skills classes, overseeing our popular Device Advice and Book-a-Librarian services, as well as growing, promoting, and reporting on the use of our eLibrary resources.
Engaging with our hapori to increase both awareness and use of our eLibrary will be an important part of the role, alongside developing innovative digital and other literacy programmes.To be successful in this role, you are a proactive, self-motivated people person, with excellent communication and digital skills.
