About The RoleAs part of the Student Support Team, you will play a key role in supporting all our students while ensuring NZTC's highly reputable profile is continually raised nationally and internationally.Key Responsibilities IncludeStudent Support: Offer individualized support, including managing support calls, responding to queries promptly, guiding students to internal & external resources; Manage emergency processes for international students, ensure they meet course requirements, and assist with international tutorials.Administrative Services: Maintain student records, handle requests such as withdrawals and re-enrollments, and provide necessary administrative support related to student programs.Program and Enrollment Support: Assist with student enrollment processes, including interviews and health follow-ups, and support students through Program Board procedures.Communication: Communicate effectively with students and college staff, handle student feedback, support the documentation for the 'Code', and promote NZTC services as needed.We are accepting candidates based anywhere in NZ.
This role will be primarily WFH but may involve occasional time working at an NZTC campus where required.About YouThe Student Support team is looking for a self-motivated and organised individual, who is a team player, people-oriented, and has strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience or be able to learn a range of student management systems, and be confident in responding to student enquiry phone calls and undertaking interviews with applicants.Key RequirementsIdeally 1-2 years' experience in student services / administrative role.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer focus and administrative skills.Able to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office Suite of applications.Experience using Student Management Systems highly advantageous.About UsNew Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC) provides high-quality education to early childhood and healthcare students in New Zealand and around the world.
