This is a permanent opportunity based in our Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office.
Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and lead the delivery of the technology and practices that will enable our data and analytics strategy.
As our regulatory responsibilities have expanded, we've established a data programme to enhance our enterprise data and analytical platform, along with ensuring a focus on robust data management and governance.
We're on an ambitious data journey, leveraging our agility to tackle a wide range of data challenges in regulation, investigations, and econometrics.
In this role, you'll experience a variety of intriguing and diverse data issues that you won't find in most other organisations.
The indicative salary range for this role is $145,986 - $171,748 plus 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects their individual skills, experience, and internal relativities across the organisation.

To be successful in this role you will also have technical experience in: * cloud data and analytic services e.g.
Azure, Snowflake, etc * data and analytics tools e.g.
SQL, R, Python, Git, etc * developing end to end data pipelines * familiar with Entra ID and role-based access management * ETL tools such as Meltano, DBT and airflow etc.
