You'll manage a dedicated team and play a key role in supporting refugee resettlement in our community.As a Senior Social Worker, you'll ensure safe practices, oversee client support, and develop social and settlement services.
Additionally, you'll build strong networks with community providers and streamline referrals to mainstream services.In this role, you will:Lead and support staff to maximize their contributions and maintain staffing levels within budget;Ensure quality service through casework monitoring and adherence to New Zealand Red Cross policies and standards;Coordinate intake and settlement activities, liaising with agencies and managing annual plans with P2E staff;Manage casework and crisis support, assist with client settlement plans, and provide tailored social work support;Conduct assessments, offer micro-counselling, and make relevant referrals while advocating for client access to services;Support and communicate with volunteers and assist with settlement tasks as needed.Who are we looking for?
