Waitai Lodge perches by the coast at Martins Bay and is a great launching pad for guests' adventures or a relaxing soak in our wood-fired hot tubs—an experience like no otherAs a hosting team, you'll be responsible for providing a high-end memorable lodge experience.Chefs will provide delicious kai (food) - breakfast, lunch and immaculately plated three-course meal featuring delicacies such as venison and blue cod.
With your ability to bring meals to life, you'll ensure that every dish is a culinary delight (including catering for dietary requirements).Housekeeping will ensure private rooms, ensuites and all lodge areas are presented in a pristine manner.All Lodge Hosts will provide world-class manaakitanga (hospitality) and share the richness of Ngai Tahu culture and values with our manuhiri.This is a hands-on role suited to all-rounders with a "can-do" attitude who thrive in a small, dynamic team.

A vehicle is required for your subsidised transport to and from the valley.Applications will only be considered from NZ Residents/Citizens or individuals on a Working Holiday Visa which allows you to work the entire season (October 2025 - May 2026).
