Featuring world-class golf simulators, a vibrant social atmosphere, and a fully licensed bar, Fore Seasons caters to golf enthusiasts, casual players, corporate events, and social gatherings.About the RoleWe are on the hunt for a friendly, responsible, and tech-savvy Venue Assistant to join the Fore Seasons team.
This role is crucial in delivering a top-tier customer experience, overseeing bar operations, managing memberships, handling inquiries, and ensuring the venue remains clean and functional.
The ability to work independently and stay composed during busy periods is essential.Position: Venue AssistantEmployment Type: Part-Time (Sole charge shifts required)Hours: 12-24 hours per week on a roster, including some evening and weekend shiftsKey ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience & Venue OperationsGreet and assist customers, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience.Guide guests on using the cutting-edge golf simulators, including setup and gameplay instructions.Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.Provide tips to enhance customer enjoyment of the facilities.Remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations, managing multiple customer requests simultaneously.Assist with membership sign-ups and inquiries, fostering strong relationships with regular patrons.Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance member satisfaction and retention.Bar & Hospitality DutiesServe drinks and snacks in compliance with liquor licensing laws.Monitor and manage stock levels for bar and snack areas, restocking as needed.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area.General Venue Maintenance & AdministrationHandle phone, email, and social media inquiries professionally and promptly.Keep the venue clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.Ensure smooth setup for bookings, events, and corporate functions.Skills & Experience RequiredBar Manager's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Outstanding customer service and communication skills - friendly, professional, and approachableStrong IT/technical skills - ability to troubleshoot simulator issues (training provided)Self-motivated and responsible - ability to work independently during sole-charge shiftsOrganized and efficient - ability to multitask and keep the venue running smoothlyComfortable handling busy periods, especially on wet weather daysPrevious hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferredGolf knowledge is a plus but not requiredWhy Join Us?Work in a fun and social environment surrounded by golf and great peopleBe part of a growing business in an exciting and evolving industryEnjoy flexible part-time hours, including evening and weekend shiftsGain diverse experience in hospitality, customer service, and tech supportIf you have a passion for providing outstanding customer experiences and enjoy a hands-on, varied role, we want to hear from you
