Adviser Qualification Design at Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections), Wellington (Te Whanganui a Tara)Foster a culture of continuous improvement and inclusive learning.Support knowledge sharing and self-evaluation within teams.Based in Wellington, with locations in the CBD and Upper Hutt.Kotahi ano te kaupapa, ko te oranga o te iwi | There is only one purpose to our work: the wellness and wellbeing of people.As the New Zealand Corrections Government Training Establishment (NZCGTE) moves into an exciting transformative and innovative growth phase, we are looking for an energetic, resilient, and engaging professional to support frontline staff capability through the development and design of purposeful workplace qualifications.Mo te tunga | About the roleThe primary purpose of this role will be to develop workplace qualifications and assessment resources to enhance workforce capabilities and collect and analyse data to inform continuous improvement.Responsibilities will include:Removing barriers to assessment.Ensuring qualifications and assessment resources are current and aligned to Ara Poutama's vision.Co-designing qualifications with subject matter experts and relevant stakeholders.Using data and insights gathered from assessments and evaluations to inform decision-making and enhance overall capability.You will also work closely with the Moderation team, National Managers, and external bodies for accreditation to strengthen practice and capability.Ideally, you will have a tertiary qualification or diploma in adult learning, business, or other relevant subjects, or relevant experience in a similar role.You will also have completed the following Unit Standards, or have a willingness to gain these:4098 Use Standards to Assess Candidate Performance11551 Moderate Assessment11552 Design and Evaluate Assessment MaterialSubmit your application online and include highlights and examples as to how you meet the below requirements:Proven experience in designing workplace qualifications and assessment resources.Proven ability to collect and analyse data to inform continuous improvement.Proven proactive and effective management of internal and external relationships, using influence and persuasion techniques to build confidence and trust.Proven ability to work collaboratively with business units, managers, and staff to enhance organisational development.A highly proactive nature with the ability to effectively self-manage and work autonomously.This role will include occasional travel; a Full New Zealand Drivers Licence is required.The mid-point of the salary range is $87,132 and the full range (85%-120%) is $74,063 - $104,559.
