The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Team Leader to join our busy team in Dryer 1 and Dryer 2 plant. This is an exciting hands-on role where you can lead and develop the shift team to deliver the production plan to ensure our business plan is achieved. You will have overall responsibility for the key results and systems of the shift team.
This role offers great flexibility working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights). Reporting through to the Plant Manager (D1/D2) be a part of a very innovative and collaborative team.
The main responsibilities of this role include:

Ensure timely & accurate management of manufacturing orders.
Overall responsibility for the key results and systems of the shift team (including safety, quality, GMP, process reliability, engagement, team development, IWS, costs and achievement of loss reduction).
The role is accountable for assisting in driving plant production targets in line with safety, quality, engagement, plant attainment, reliability, yield and people with the guidance and support of the Production Manager.
Accountable for supporting people capability across the shift.

Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, you will require:

Working under a risk management program or equivalent regulatory or food safety accreditations preferred.
Previous experience in a leadership role.

A degree qualification in food manufacturing, process engineering or diploma in Dairy Technology or processing is highly regarded in this role, as is previous 5+ years in Dairy Manufacturing.
