NZCL is looking for energetic and motivated people to support people in their own home.We are looking for casual Support Workers to help the people we support in our Kapiti residential services.What does a Support Worker do?
- He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko?This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and to do the things they want to do such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills.

Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support with the potential of additional sleepover payments included in some rosters.Why us?

You need to be respectful of others' thinking, and their way of living life that may be different from your ownFlexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekendsEmpathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.If you are passionate about supporting people, then maybe there is a role for you here.
