The team are based on a ring-fenced ward for arthroplasty, shared with the rehabilitation team offering a highly valued service to the community.
The on-call roster is provided by five Consultants with excellent support from the Orthopaedic community around New Zealand.
The department provides general, acute, and elective care with current sub-specialty interests including Hip and Knee Arthroplasty, Paediatrics, and Sports Surgery.
We are looking for a colleague to join the team with a sub-specialist interest that would complement and help build the department and services offered.To be part of our team, you will have:Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the New Zealand Medical Council or eligible for registration with the Medical Council to enable you to practice medicine within New Zealand.Demonstrated clinical expertise in management of a variety of orthopaedic conditions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop partnerships and work collaboratively within a team.Me pehea te tuku tono - How to ApplyTo complete an application please use the "apply now" link provided which will redirect you through our online career's portal.
