This full-time role is based at our Head Office in Ellerslie, with time spent each week at our two manufacturing plants in South Auckland - Wiri and Papakura and leads a team of 6 direct reports.You'll be part of our Senior Management Group and a key contributor across the business, working with a range of teams every day to ensure our objectives are delivered, through effective cross functional partnering.
The successful candidate will have proven experience leading a supply planning function and demonstrated interest in keeping up with - and utilising- technology advancements in the supply world.What you'll be responsible for:Leading, engaging and developing a team of 6 direct reportsEnabling collaboration with sales and marketing, to accurately forecast demand & ensure supply plans align with market needsPartnering closely with key stakeholders across the business, establishing & maintaining strong working relationshipsMaintaining optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs & avoiding stockoutsDeveloping teams, processes and systems to consistently deliver production schedules that align with supply plans & ensure timely delivery of productsDeveloping and improving planning processesLeading the S&OP/IBP processes to align supply and demand plans, ensuring cross-functional collaborationContinuing to increase alignment and collaboration with the wider ANZ teamDeveloping and monitoring key performance indicators related to supply chain performanceIdentifying opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectivenessEmbedding and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the Supply Planning TeamWhat you'll bring to the role?5+ years in a supply planning management role, ideally within a manufacturing environmentProven leadership experience – you lead from the front & have a track record of creating highly engaged teamsExperience in (and a passion for)
technology advancements, AI within supply & inventory optimisation toolsExcellent communication and business partnering skills - you can effectively tailor your approach, love working with a range of people & see the value in partnering cross functionally to deliver the best possible resultsAbility to identify areas of opportunity and drive meaningful change, taking the team with you on the journeyStrong business acumen, with the ability to flex between the data and detail to the bigger, strategic pictureDemonstrated ability to influence and negotiate where neededAccountability – you own your decisions and results and can be counted on to do what you say you willConsidered decision making and solutions-focused approachWhat can you expect in return?
