Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Manager to lead our VMI team and oversee the end-to-end supply chain execution to our retail grocery key accounts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving performance by meeting Outbound Service Levels (OBSL) targets across Woolworths and Foodstuffs accounts. Your expertise will ensure optimized stock cover to meet service, cost, and shelf-life expectations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive performance and meet OBSL targets.
  • Lead a team of VMI planners to ensure optimized stock cover and meet service, cost, and shelf-life expectations.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to align on tactical plans and support quarterly and annual performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimize supply chain execution.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on planning and inventory management.
  • Proven track record of driving performance improvement and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field would be beneficial.
