Tuturu Lead/ Senior Tuturu Lead - Wellington, New Zealand - New Zealand Drug FoundationSummary: Support schools to address alcohol, drugs, and health issues, creating community networks and facilitating change to empower young people and schools to navigate health challenges.Tuturu is a New Zealand approach focusing on critical thinking, resilience, and whole school approaches to address health concerns, including alcohol and drugs. The role involves collaborating with schools to identify needs, develop whole school approaches, and facilitating professional learning and development. You will be part of a team of Tuturu leads and work closely with school staff, local mental health, and AoD services in the Wellington region.Minimum Requirements:At least 3-5 years' relevant work experience in public health, community development, education, or health settings.Existing understanding of and connections with mental health and addictions services.Understanding of and interest in Tuturu/whole school approach.Experience or knowledge of education, youth mental health, and/or addiction sector.Able to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.Strong presentation and facilitation skills.Ability to work autonomously and within a team, and work outside normal office hours.Key Responsibilities: Make a key contribution to ensuring DOC is an honourable Treaty partner. Lead the development, implementation and embedding of guidance and tools. Focus on public sector, Maori Crown relationships and Treaty obligations.Salary: Salary range between $92,985 depending on skills and experience. Fixed term opportunity for 12 months; Wellington location.
