It's an exciting time of growth at Bendon and we are on the hunt for a creative, analytical Social Media Specialist to come on board and drive our social media marketing and influencer programs to the next level.
Bendon is a much-loved, iconic New Zealand brand creating lingerie for women for over 75 years and constantly adapting, innovating, and improving to meet changing needs of modern women.
We are unique in that we design, manufacture, and sell our products, including Bendon, Pleasure State, Fayreform, ME by Bendon and Lovable.
You will manage and deliver branded content on all our social and digital channels for growing social engagement as well as be responsible for budgets, campaign objectives, measurements of success, and recommended creative outputs and ideas.
What are we looking for? We are looking for an ambitious and passionate social media marketer. Key responsibilities include:

Content & Social Media Planning: Develop an engaging content calendar that brings to life brand pillars and engages all digital marketing levers to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Social Media Management: Plan and execute the social media calendar, working collaboratively with the team to deliver engaging and compelling brand content across our social channels.
Provide regular reporting on creative effectiveness and insights.
Paid Social Media Management: Manage production and delivery of paid social and creative assets to our digital media agency to drive brand awareness, consideration, and conversion.
Work closely with team and agency to understand asset requirements and manage the planning and production of these assets.
Copywriting: Plan, brief, and manage copywriting requirements for social content, including blogs and social media captions.
Understand social trends to recommend social media content based on competitor and industry insights.
Community Management: Engage with our followers and fans and bring Bendon's personality to life through fan engagement across social and inside our new community channel.
Video Content Production: Create engaging video content for stories, reels, TikTok & Pinterest, including filming, editing, and publishing.
Influencers and Events: Build and manage influencer campaigns, promotions, and events.
Marketing Campaign & Planning: Create social media marketing campaigns across our channels to meet our revenue goals and support the Marketing Manager with ad hoc marketing tasks.

The Person we need: The ideal candidate will have 3+ years as a proven digital and social media marketing specialist, ideally with agency experience and a track record of successfully executing marketing strategies that influence market share and profitable growth.
Highly organised with attention to detail. Experienced in planning and executing within social platforms. Strong listening, influencing and creative thinking skills.
Comfortable executing paid social media strategies with advanced Google analytics, Social Media, Google AdWords and knowledge of best practices in Social Media advertising.
Experience using social media monitoring/listening and reporting tools alongside web analytics tools is a plus.
