We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically minded Entry Level Support Engineer to join our growing team at New Era IT Ltd. This full-time role is based on our client sites, providing vital IT support and problem-solving to our diverse range of clients in the education sector. As a key member of our IT support team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' technology infrastructure.What you'll be doingResponding to and resolving a wide range of IT support queries and issues through phone, email and remote accessTroubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software problems to provide efficient and effective solutionsSetting up new user accounts, devices and software, and providing training to end-users as neededMaintaining detailed records of support activities and generating reports on support performanceCollaborating with the wider IT team to implement system enhancements and optimisationsAssisting with project work, including the deployment of new technologies and infrastructureWhat we're looking forA relevant tertiary qualification in IT, computer science or a related fieldStrong technical problem-solving skills and a keen interest in emerging technologiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clientsA customer-focused approach and the ability to provide high-quality supportSome previous experience in an IT support or help desk role, ideally in a professional services environmentFamiliarity with common desktop software, operating systems and hardware troubleshootingWhat we offerOpportunities for professional development and career progressionA healthy work-life balanceA collaborative and supportive team environmentAbout usNew Era IT Ltd is a leading IT services provider, specialising in tailored solutions for businesses of all sizes.
