A key role in our team you will:- Plan, organise & own the deliverables for the Produce category - you will align priorities with overall Banner strategy and agree goals, measures and service levels to grow and maintain market share- Establish operational standards and ensure brand consistent positioning across Gilmours- Provide ongoing education for Store Buyers, Sales Managers and Owners to enhance knowledge of the Produce Category- Manage key relationships including managing activities around sales growth, margin enhancement, onboarding & maintenance of National Accounts business- Develop & explore opportunities for prepared produce including range development & end user business development- Manage pricing into National Accounts & support National Account customer tender processes- Streamline processes & simplify ordering process for store buyers to allow them to access best price with minimal administrationHe korero mou - About youIdeally, you'll come from a background in buying or from a store and have experience in FMCG or Fresh Produce.
You'll also:- Have experience in operational management including ranging, sourcing, pricing and promotion, business analysis, trends & problem identification- Be comfortable with negotiation & management of commercial supplier / distribution agreements- Understand market trends & influences, both within New Zealand & globally- Be good with numbers, data & analysis with the ability to multitask & have an eye for detail.
