We would prefer someone who has previous experience working within the disability sector or aged care.Previous relevant experience is preferred, but more importantly, we are looking for someone with varied life experience and an open-minded attitude.
You should also have:The skills to build good relationships with the people we support and help them make good decisions for themselves.A calm nature and confidence to work with challenging behaviours.Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts.Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support.Full NZ driver's license.Nou te rourou | What's in it for you?$23.84 - $29.10 per hour depending on relevant qualifications, with the ability to earn more as you gain qualifications.IDEA Services will support you towards completion of the Level 2, 3 and 4 Certificates in Health and Wellbeing qualifications.Generous long service leave entitlements plus insurance benefits after 2 years' service.
