Te Haeata/The Opportunity The Ministry of Justice Te Tahu o te Ture is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Advisor to deliver end-to-end communication services across the Ministry.
You'll play a key role in providing expert strategic communications advice, crafting compelling content, and ensuring our messaging reaches the right audiences through the right channels.
In this role, you will: * develop and implement communication plans that support Ministry priorities * advise senior leaders on communications strategies and best practices * create engaging content for internal and external audiences * foster strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally * support reputation management and ensure brand consistency.
O pukenga/Skills and Experience Reporting to the Manager Communications Delivery, in the Communications and Ministerial Services team, the successful candidate will demonstrate: * significant experience at a senior level, across the full range of the communications discipline * the ability to assess, prioritise and appropriately support a wide-ranging work programme * excellent time management, attention to detail and self-motivation * exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to form strong working relationships with senior leaders * an understanding of the machinery of government, and experience navigating a large or complex public sector agency * experience coaching and mentoring other communications professionals.

Utu a-tau/Salary The appointing salary for this role will be between $97,208 and $135,539 based on skills and experience.
