As the clinical nursing lead in the vascular service, you will support, mentor and act as a resource person for patients and whanau; the nursing team and other health professionals.
A8 is a combined vascular surgery and acute stroke ward with 24 ward level beds and 4 Progressive Care Unit (PCU) beds.
The successful candidate will have clinical expertise in Vascular nursing and the ability to transfer this knowledge to the nursing team.
They will be crucial to continuing to support and develop nurses working in A8 and the embedding of safe evidence-based practice.

Provide valuable support, education and clinical expertise to help develop the A8 nursing team.
Promote nursing research, education and evidence-based practice.
Your broad knowledge and extensive recent experience will place you perfectly as a specialist resource for the team.
Motivated, organised, exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage a wide range of people, is paramount in this role.
You'll be an expert nurse and either hold, or be working towards, a relevant postgraduate qualification and equivalent PDRP.
