* Full-time permanent role with a salary of $131,727 + 5 weeks annual leave Te Whiwhinga Mahi | Our opportunity As a Team Leader Housing Support, you will lead a team of Housing Support Managers and Senior Housing Support Managers ensuring they have the right tools, guidance, and support to carry out their day-to-day activities.
Your responsibilities include: * creating a safe and healthy work environment where customer outcomes, operational targets and positive people experiences are achieved * managing and monitor the health and safety of a largely mobile team, providing support and guidance as required to our people * producing operational reporting to monitor our debt levels, work volumes and services being managed by the team?and how the team is performing Also unique to this role is leading through change and enabling your team to navigate across medium to high density housing.
You will effectively manage team culture and dynamics to foster a collaborative, high performing team with collective drive to deliver excellent service for Kainga Ora customers.
Nga pumanawatanga ou - What you will bring: * Experience across medium to high density housing * Sound knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act.
* Proven experience leading, motivating and coaching a high performing service delivery team within a specific location, including managing staff development and performance.
* Experience with change management and managing risks, and health and safety.
* Experience working in a multi-faceted and demanding customer service environment, with knowledge of issues, priorities and concerns facing key customer groups.
* Demonstrated ability to lead planning to ensure team members have the right support and time to deliver on their priorities, including understanding portfolio numbers, workload, and specialised community needs.
* Cultural awareness to align approach to our customers' aspirations and preferences, particularly in working with Maori and Pasifika, with experience working with different cultures and/or community groups.
* You will have great networks in the community and understand how we work alongside our other agencies to support our customers achieve the best outcomes.
