Survey Technician

Our client are surveying, land development and subdivision specialists with years of experience in the Canterbury region.
Their dedicated team is committed to delivering high-quality solutions for a diverse range of projects, from rural subdivisions to large-scale townhouse and Greenfield developments.
As their workflow continues to grow, they are on the lookout for an experienced Survey Technician to join the teamYou will be working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong NZ based cadastral background, has excellent communication skills, and can work autonomously as well as in a team environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the planning, execution, and management of surveying projects.Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and laser scanners.Collect and analyze field data to produce accurate survey results and reports.Collaborate with senior surveyors, engineers and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.Prepare and review survey documentation, including plans, maps, and diagrams.Adhere to safety and quality standards in all aspects of surveying work.Qualifications:A relevant degree or diploma in Surveying, or a related field.Minimum 5+ years NZ based relevant experience.Strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques.Proficiency with surveying software and equipment, including Trimble, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12D and Landonline.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication, written and verbal, and teamwork abilities.A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop professionally.What's on Offer:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including vehicle, laptop + phone.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.A collaborative and supportive work environment with flexible working available.Involvement in diverse and impactful projects.If you think you could be interested in learning more about this opportunity, please apply via the advert or get in touch with Jordan directlyMobile: 021 229 0192Email: ******
