About the Role The primary role of the Security Guard is to observe and report activities that breach the proper operation of the site for which he/she is responsible.
About the Team/Service/Location This team is integral in responding to security incidents, performing patrols, conducting safety audits, and maintaining a watchful presence, all while upholding health and safety, cultural awareness, and continuous quality improvement standards.
Minimum Requirements: Security Certificate of Approval OR willingness to train toward the certificate Full & Clean Drivers licence An ability to work effectively in a demanding team environment Great time management Ability to work rostered shifts over a 24 hour period Some basic computer knowledge Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
