About the Role The primary role of the Security Guard is to observe and report activities that breach the proper operation of the site for which he/she is responsible. About the Team/Service/Location This team is integral in responding to security incidents, performing patrols, conducting safety audits, and maintaining a watchful presence, all while upholding health and safety, cultural awareness, and continuous quality improvement standards. Minimum Requirements: Security Certificate of Approval OR willingness to train toward the certificateFull & Clean Drivers licenceAn ability to work effectively in a demanding team environmentGreat time managementAbility to work rostered shifts over a 24 hour periodSome basic computer knowledgeCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
