OverviewAssist in centralized billing of all claimsResponsibilitiesJob Duties:Responsible for accurate data entry of resident insurance information.Review of resident face sheets and make corrections if needed.Verify and change any financial pay statuses.Provides customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilitiesIdentify errors that caused claim denial on a daily basisCorrect all necessary data Re-bill claims as neededInteract with Kinney Employees (Store and Corporate) and various outside agenciesAssist in the overall automation of billing proceduresAssist end of month bill processVisit clients to go over monthly billing statementResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsEducational Requirements:Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related fieldMinimum: High School DiplomaExperience:Preferred: 1 to 2 years Long Term Care pharmacy billingPreferred: General knowledge of Medicare D Insurance, Medicare A, Accounting, Third Party Processing and/or Pharmacy Operations.Required (Vermont Employees):Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy TechnicianRequired (Ohio Employees Only):Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy TechnicianSpecial Conditions of Employment:Drug testInitial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoringAny and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific positionJob Skills Required:Excellent phone communication skillsStrong organizational skillsGeneral computer and keyboarding skillsAbility to complete responsibilities with minimal supervisionSuccessful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening testRequired Training:HIPAA Privacy CourseHIPAA Security CourseFraud, Waste, and Abuse CourseMethGuard CourseBehavioral Traits Required:Cooperation: Must work harmoniously and effectively with fellow employees, supervisors and other in contact withInitiative: Must work within supervision guidelines and assume additional responsibilitiesFlexibility: Must be willing to work variable work schedules, assist others as requested and available, and be willing to perform all assigned workAdaptability: Must respond to new situations in a positive way, accept change, support new ideas, master new routines and grasp explanations, apply current knowledge in new environments and experiencesInvolvement: Must enjoy the demands of the job and work with interest and enthusiasmCustomer Service: Must provide appropriate customer service (for Kinney customers, fellow employees and business partners), listen attentively to their needs and respond appropriatelySafety: Must take care of equipment and employ good safety habitsLeadership: Must gain acceptance of ideas and accomplish goals through subordinates, peers and teamsAttendance Requirements:Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shiftsMust be able to work nights and weekends as required.Compensation:$15.97 - $20.94 an hourThe final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. is a multistate organization and abides by all local, state and federal regulations as it pertains to minimum wage requirements.
