Reporting directly to our Chief Innovation and Digital Officer, you'll help support them with our strategy, as well as our architecture best practices and governance.If you're a strategic thinker at an enterprise architectural level, and someone who thrives on a challenge and can proactively identify ways to continually add value, we want to hear from you.What a day might look likeDefining, implementing and embedding the overarching technology strategy, ensuring the alignment of our business objectives.Leading the creation and maintenance of the enterprise architecture, ensuring it supports our current and future needs.Overseeing the modernisation of our legacy systems, ensuring seamless integration with new platforms and technologies.Driving cloud migration initiatives, guiding the team in best practices and leveraging emerging technologies where necessary.Building and mentoring a high-performing architecture and development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.What you'll bringExtensive experience in strategy and enterprise architecture roles, with a preference for candidates who have previously worked in insurance or financial services.A solid grasp of modern cloud architecture, modern integration patterns, and Agile methodologies.A deep understanding of compliance and governance, embedding these into our processes to ensure consistency.Proven leadership experience and a track record of leading or significantly supporting a large-scale technology transformation.Adaptability with a natural ability to pivot quickly, make decisions, and back yourself.Pragmatic approach, comfortable wearing multiple hats and easily switching between different projects.What we can offerHealth and life insurance.If you join our MAS KiwiSaver Scheme, we will contribute 4%.Additional leave, including a volunteer day and 2 additional MAS days.Wellbeing benefits including vaccinations and health insurance discounts.Learning and development opportunities, fostering growth through various means.About usMAS is a New Zealand-owned mutual insurance and investment company offering a range of insurance and investment solutions to help grow our Members' wealth and protect what's important to them.
