The team at Yu Group are on the lookout for good people to join our team of hospitality professionals. We are currently recruiting for a Sous Prep Chef to take the helm and lead our prep team in our busy catering kitchen.This is a Sous level position reporting to the Executive Chef. The role requires 7 day a week availability and previous Chef experience at a Senior CDP or Sous Chef level.You will lead our prep team, ensuring the consistent presentation, timing, and delivery of various items for Astoria, as well as a few other Yu Group venues, and some external catering as well. Previous experience as a prep chef is preferred. Previous baking, pizza, protein, or pasta experience would be advantageous. Early starts (4.30am) will be required from time to time. Own transport is essential.We are looking for strong candidates who are hard working, reliable, self-motivated, and have a genuine passion for food and the Hospitality industry. Attention to detail is greatly desired, as is demonstrated culinary expertise.
